MLS - Ex-La Liga coach Paco Jemez eyed by several MLS clubs
According to a Monday report from Spanish source Marca, many MLS teams have contacted former veteran La Liga coach Paco Jemez about head coaching positions.
According to the article, Jemez is considering his possibilities for a return to management after managing Rayo Vallecano in Spain in 2019-2020. Multiple MLS clubs are said to be among the suitors, however it was not revealed which clubs had contacted Jemez.
Interim managers are currently in charge of Toronto FC, Vancouver Whitecaps, FC Dallas, Chicago Fire FC, FC Cincinnati, and Real Salt Lake, all of whom parted ways with their former head coaches during the season.
Jemez, 51, has been a manager since 2007, almost completely in his home Spain, with the exception of one season in Liga MX with Cruz Azul in 2016-2017, when he led the club to their first playoff berth in three years before returning to Spain.
