According to reports from German publications Bild and Wolfsburger Nachrichten, Ricardo Pepi continues to generate transfer talk, with Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg the latest European team to express interest in acquiring the FC Dallas homegrown attacker.

Wolfsburg is one of three teams on Pepi's radar, according to Wolfsburger Nachrichten, with Ajax of the Netherlands and Genoa of Serie A being the others.

Pepi, has made a name for himself in both the MLS and internationally this year. The 18-year-old has led FC Dallas with 13 goals and three assists in 27 games (22 starts), as well as scoring the game-winning penalty kick in the MLS All-Star Game presented by Target.

This earned him his first call-up to the US men's national team, when he scored the game-winning goal against Honduras in September World Cup Qualifying, sparking a stunning 4-1 comeback triumph. Pepi was involved in some way in each of the four goals in the game.

In a guest appearance on the CBS Sports Que Golazo podcast last month, Fabrizio Romano stated that an anonymous president of a Serie A team wanted to recruit Pepi. Tanner Tessmann (Venezia) and Bryan Reynolds (Venezia) are two of Pepi's fellow FC Dallas homegrown players who have already made transfers to Italian teams this year (AS Roma).
