Mohamed Salah is Juventus' forbidden dream for next season's forward line. The Egyptian player has a contract expiring with Liverpool in June 2023, renewal negotiations have been underway for a while but have not led to any progress.
According to what reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve asked for information on his situation and the Reds are ready for his farewell after the purchase of Luis Diaz in January, but the operation remains very complex for the Italian club.

The Wage obstacle.
The striker who has won everything with Liverpool currently earns € 11m net and in talks with the English club he would have asked for much more for what could become, his last major contract. With the purchase of Vlahovic, Juve seems to have set the maximum limit for salaries at €7 million per season, also confirmed in the negotiations with Dybala.

The Growth Decree.
Then there is the aspect related to tax savings, which allows to hire players from abroad, taking advantage of the tax breaks of the Growth Decree, but even so the operation is considered rather complex, especially since it would go beyond the project to invest on players which can be resold in the future, generating capital gains.
