SERIE A - Napoli boss Spalletti: "It was a night to remember against Lazio"
Napoli first-team manager Luciano Spalletti, commenting upon latest win of theirs over Lazio, by a 4-0 final outcome, stated:
"It was a performance to remember. It’s our best win of the season, particularly because it came after three not so good games. I saw so many positives tonight and I’m thrilled.
It was an unforgettable performance. We got all our decisions right and Lazio didn’t get a look-in. My players never wanted that game to end. They were in control and enjoyed themselves, which is a key aspect. This group always wants to come out on top and doesn’t accept mediocrity. We know how to bounce back and we showcased our mentality this evening.
We’re not worried about anything. We always want to try to achieve as much as possible. You always need to have that sort of attitude. You have to aim high and have no fear. The drive from the Stadio Maradona was also key tonight. We finally felt what it means to play at home”.
