SOCIAL - Pedri finally takes a break, post picture of him relaxing

Pedri has finally decided to take a break. The 18-year-old has had one of the most intense debut seasons imaginable, breaking into Barcelona's first squad at the start of the season and playing nearly every minute of La Roja's Euro 2020 campaign.

He subsequently proceeded to the Olympics with Spain, where he was a constant presence as his team advanced to the final.

Many have criticized Pedri's schedule, which sees the adolescent competing in three tournaments over the course of a year. Only Richarlison of Everton and Brazil and Pau Torres of Villarreal put up comparable figures, although both are 24 years old and much more physically developed.

Pedri's performances this season have astonished everyone. Despite a demanding schedule, the Canary Islands native has risen to the top level of European football without breaking a sweat. Barcelona has granted him two weeks off to recover and heal, and he has uploaded a photo of himself sitting in the sun to demonstrate that he is finally enjoying a well-deserved break.
