This morning Guido Vaciago writes the Sentence imposed on the 3 remaining Superleague clubs will be delivered after the champions league final.

Uefa president Alexander Ceferin announced recently that formal disciplinary proceedings had begun to ascertain if the clubs involved broke UEFA regulations by forming the Superleague. The punishment will most likely be exclusion from European competition for 1 or 2 seasons plus a significant fine.

All three clubs will then appeal to Tas (Tribunal for Arbitration of Sport) where the sentence will most likely be suspended and the clubs will be allowed to compete in the Champions league. A very long legal battle will then begin but the Superleague clubs are in great hands, they will have the great Dupont who was responsible for the Bosman ruling and also defended Manchester city against UEFA on their side.

Vaciago points out there is a counter investigation going on also, the Superleague clubs have launched an offensive at the European court of Justice to investigate a possible abuse of power by UEFA.

One thing is for sure this story will rumble on for a long time.
