Sidy Sarr, a central midfielder for Ligue 2 team Nîmes, was arrested on Monday, according to L'Équipe, on suspicion of having contacts with underage prostitutes.

Even more astonishing, according to Midi Libre, it appears that Sarr accidentally self-incriminated himself after filing a legal complaint following the theft of his Audi Q3, an act ostensibly committed by the two female, 17-year-old prostitutes with whom Sarr later admitted to having consensual sexual relations after paying them.

The Senegalese international was placed on the transfer list in the summer and was unable to reintegrate into the first team before the transfer window closed, despite manager Pascal Plancque describing him as "the player with the most promise" in the group.
