Based in Djibouti, AS Arta Solar 7 has set out to become a club that matters in Africa. With reinforcements on the transfer market.

“A new challenge awaits me in Djibouti. I hope to make my small contribution to the influence of the Djibouti championship and to an excellent course for AS ARTA / SOLAR 7 in the African countryside. Thank you to the managers, to my teammates and to all the fans of ARTA / SOLAR 7 for the welcome and the opportunity to live my passion and continue to have fun on a football field!" A few days ago, Alain Traoré (32) announced his arrival at AS Arta Solar 7, Djibouti's flagship club.

A new adventure for the Burkinabé midfielder, who started his career at AJ Auxerre and passed through Brest, Monaco, Lorient and Berkane in Morocco, and joins an ambitious team.

For several months, other big names in African football have in fact agreed to take over the management of Djibouti. The Stallion will thus find Cameroonians Idriss Kameni (37 years old, ex-Espanyol, Malaga, Fenerbahçe), Alexandre Song (34 years old, ex-Arsenal, FC Barcelona) and Dany Nounkeu (35 years old, ex-Toulouse, Galatasaray) but also Senegalese Diafra Sakho (31, ex-Metz, West Ham, Rennes).
