BUNDES - Bayern lose talented young stars to injury
On Monday, injuries to up-and-coming star Jamal Musiala and backup goalkeeper Sven Ulreich marred Bayern Munich's training session.
Musiala, 18, had a capsule damage in his right ankle, while Ulreich, 18, experienced a partial inner ligament injury in his right knee joint, according to the Bavarian powerhouse.
While Ulreich had only made one appearance for Bayern in the German Cup this season, Musiala had a big effect in the first six games, scoring four goals and providing four assists in six outings. He didn't play the entire game in any of them, and he was rested for Bayern's 7-0 thrashing of Bochum on Saturday.
Musiala has also represented Germany on eight occasions.
Bayern has not stated how long each player (Musiala and Ulreich) will be sidelined.
