BUNDES - Bayern: reassuring news for Lucas Hernandez
Positive news for Julian Nagelsmann and Bayern Munich. While Lucas Hernandez had been forced to give up his place in the 68th minute during Rekordmeister's great success against Union Berlin (5-2) on Saturday in the Bundesliga, the French international will be able to play on this Tuesday, for the reception of Benfica in the 4th matchday of the Champions League.
“Lucas received a blow on Saturday and his injury is not muscular. He has played a lot lately but I assume that it will be fine for him tomorrow (Tuesday), ” reassured the Bayern coach on Monday at a pre-match press conference. Nagelsmann will therefore be able to count on Hernandez in order to obtain at least one point against the Portuguese club, in order to validate the qualification of Munich in the round of 16 of CL.
This is also good news for Didier Deschamps, who will announce his list this Thursday for the next game of the France team.
