BUNDES - Haaland scores on return from injury, secures win at Wolfsburg.
Borussia Dortmund beat Wolfsburg 3-1 on Saturday, with Erling Haaland scoring on his comeback from injury.
After a five-week layoff due to a leg injury, Haaland scored his 50th Bundesliga goal in as many games just eight minutes after coming off the bench in the second half.
After Wout Weghort had given Wolfsburg an early lead, he scored from a Julian Brandt pass, adding to an Emre Can penalty and a Donyell Malen goal for Dortmund.
"We missed him (Haaland) in the last few weeks. He's a weapon," Brandt told Sky.
Haaland's return is a significant boost for Dortmund, who face Bayern next weekend in a top-of-the-table showdown.
Dortmund's dreams of reaching the Champions League last 16 were dashed three days earlier when they were defeated 3-1 by Sporting Lisbon.
