Hamburger SV apparently has to hurry in the contract talks with goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes.
According to “Bild”, the “first interested parties” have already contacted the 28-year-old, whose contract will expire at the end of the season. The not always undisputed goalkeeper has been number one in the Rothosen goal again this season.
Heuer Fernandes is currently set, newcomer Marko Johansson (23) only remains as a substitute keeper. In 2019, the Bochum native moved from SV Darmstadt 98 to the Elbe for 1.3 million euros.
In the final phase of the 2019/20 season, Heuer Fernandes was demoted to number two by ex-coach Dieter Hecking after 28 match days, and in the past season he was left behind against Sven Ulreich.
