According to Mark Ogden of ESPN, if one of his many suitors triggers the release clause in his Dortmund contract after the season, the Norwegian striker is likely to seek a salary of at least £30 million per year.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are all said to be interested in signing the 21-year-old midfielder.

If the €75 million (£63 million) buyout provision in his contract is exercised, Haaland will be free to go at the end of the season. However, if payments to Haaland's representatives are included in, the cost is projected to skyrocket, according to Ogden.

Since moving to Germany, Haaland has established himself as one of the world's brightest players, scoring 70 goals in 69 games for Borussia Dortmund.
