Playing for Bayern Munich since 2017/18, German international centre-back Niklas Süle grew into a major Chelsea target, on Blues boss Thomas Tuchel's suggestion. Bundesliga giants top brass, however, turned down Stamford Bridge side, and, according to Sport Bild, are now making plans to sign the player on a further long-term, beyond current June 2022 deadline.
Partaking into Euro 2020 campaign, Hoffenheim alumni is allegedly likely to accept Bayern offer, and keep up with his ongoing tenure with German giants. Turning 26 on September 3rd, Süle has so far collected 133 official caps for the team, scoring six goals therein. Besides, he already won 12 titles, home and international ones combined, as a Bayern player.
