BUNDESLIGA - Olmo continues to work individually
For Dani Olmo, there is currently no training with the team on the exercise schedule. Instead, the Spanish international continues to work individually as a result of his muscle injury (small fiber tear in the thigh).
After a few days in Salzburg, where Olmo toiled in rehab training for his comeback, the offensive man is now at least back at his club in Leipzig.
Although the 23-year-old already confidently waved his thumb in the latest pictures, it is questionable whether it will be enough for a squad return against Freiburg. Of course, Olmo hopes to be ready again as soon as possible.
On 25 January 2020, Olmo moved to Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, signing a four-year contract.
He made his debut on 1 February 2020, in a 2–2 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach coming on for Tyler Adams in 69th minute. Three days later he scored the only goal in a 3–1 DFB-Pokal defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt, having come on for Amadou Haidara in 46th minute.
