Playing for FC Nürnberg first team since 2019/20, 22-year old German midfielder Fabian Nurnberger is getting more and more likely to join SC Freiburg. Mostly viable as a central midfielder, as well as a left-back, and even, if needed, as a winger, the 1999-born is meant to leave Zweite Bundesliga side on an about 2.5 million euros transfer fee.
Still on a deal with Der Ruhmreiche until June 2023, the young player is allegedly tracked by Augsburg as well. The caps he's been collecting throughout his career as a pro, which includes his 2018/19 campaign spent fending for Nürnberg second squad, add up to a 77 grand total, which includes six goals scored therein.
