OFFICIAL - Cagliari sacked Semplici. Now Mazzarri?

Cagliari Calcio announces that they have relieved Leonardo Semplici from his post as coach of the first team. At the same time, the assistant coach Andrea Consumi, the athletic trainer Yuri Fabbrizzi and the technical collaborators Rossano Casoni and Alessio Rubicini were exonerated.

Arriving at Cagliari last February, the coach and his staff were among the architects of the salvation comeback of the past season: the Club wishes to thank them for the work done so far with seriousness and utmost professionalism, wishing everyone the best for the continuation of their career.

To replace him now two names: Diego Lopez and Walter Mazzarri who seems now the favourite candidate.
