According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are getting closer and closer to sign 26-year old Italian international midfielder Mattia Zaccagni. Recently approached by both Lazio and Napoli, Hellas Verona powerhouse, who's been set a 18 million euros transfer fee upon, is meant to join Rossoneri as someone to take over Hakan Calhanoglu, who's in advanced talks with no less than city rivals of theirs and Serie A defending champions Inter Milan.

To this end, AC Milan are trying to get a cash discount by offering Scaligeri two 27-year old Italian backliners, namely Mattia Caldara (previously playing for Atalanta) and Andrea Conti (mostly suitable as a right back and a wingback, just back from his Parma loan spell).
