SERIE A - AC Milan, striker Olivier Giroud recovers

Olivier Giroud is back at Pioli's disposal and has recovered from the back problem that made him miss the last few races. The Frenchman trained with the group today. On the other hand, Ibrahimovic continues to work separately, who has not yet completely resolved the problem with his Achilles tendon.
On 17 July 2021, AC Milan announced the transfer of Giroud from Chelsea permanently on a two-year contract. Giroud scored his first goals for Milan, a brace, in a 4–1 win against Cagliari on 29 August.
Giroud played his 100th match for France on 7 October 2020, where he also scored twice in a 7–1 win against Ukraine, giving him 42 goals in his international career to surpass Platini's total and rank second for France.
On 8 June 2021, he scored twice in a warm-up friendly for the Euro 2020 against Bulgaria, reaching his tally up to 46 goals, thus being only 5 down to French national team top goalscorer Thierry Henry.
