SERIE A - AS Roma and Arsenal meeting in the middle on Xhaka

According to latest rumours reported in Italian media, AS Roma management are getting closer and closer to fetch Swiss international defensive midfielder Granit Xhaka. Leaving Arsenal after five seasons in, former Borussia Monchengladbach and FC Basel playmaker, turning 29 on September 27, has basically said yes to Giallorossi 4-year long deal proposal.
While Gunners were demanding 25 million euros for having Xhaka on his way out, they are now settling for a 17.5 million euros transfer fee, add-ons not included. While AS Roma are offering a 15 million euros amount, the sides involved are likely to meet one another's demands soon. Meanwhile, Hertha Berlin seem to have given upon the player.
