SERIE A - Atalanta coming closer to sign Giuseppe Pezzella
In search for a backup to Robin Gosens, or to the player who's going to replace him in case he got handed out, Atalanta management, according to latest Italian news, are getting transfer talks more and more advanced on 23-year old left-back Giuseppe Pezzella.
Playing for Parma during latest season, former Genoa and Udinese fender, previously linked to AC Milan, Lazio, and Fiorentina, is now apparently rather likely to join La Dea ranks. Still on a deal with Ducali, which got relegated to second-tier league, until June 2024, Pezzella might be handed out on an about 4.5 million euros transfer fee.
A former Under-21 international, the 1997-born player, suitable also as a wingback and as a wide midfielder, has so far capped 98 times in Serie A league, scoring one goal therein, and has just been inquired about by Porto as well.
