Still on a parent-club deal with second-tier side SPAL until June 2024, 25-year old Italian centre-back Kevin Bonifazi, a former U21 national team player, hasn't been bought back by Udinese. In spite of a seasonal performance slightly over average, Zebrette deemed the 7 million euros permanent-move fee a too expensive one indeed.

To this end, Torino alumni, unwilling to dwell into Serie B realms, is looking for a new club to join. To this end, according to Sky Sport Italia, former boss of his Sinisa Mihajlovic is driving Bologna to bring him in, most likely on a loan including a buy-back fee again. Previously tracked by Benevento, Fiorentina, and Sassuolo, Bonifazi has recently been inquired about by Cagliari, currently trained by mentor of his Leonardo Semplici.
