Juventus announced on Sunday that Federico Chiesa will be out until after the Serie A Christmas break due to a thigh injury.
Chiesa only played the first half of Juve's 1-0 home defeat to Atalanta on Saturday, and the club revealed in a statement that he had suffered a low-grade injury in his left thigh.
"His return is expected for after the Christmas break," Juve said.
On December 22, 2021, Serie A concludes its season before returning on January 6 for the traditional 'Befana' break.
Following Saturday's setback, Juventus remain in eighth place in Italy's top flight, seven points behind fourth-placed Atalanta, who hold the final Champions League spot.
