SERIE A - One more club after AC Milan backliner Caldara
Back into AC Milan ranks, after Atalanta decided not to buy him back, 27-year old Italian centre-back Mattia Caldara, already tracked by Genoa, Hellas Verona, and Venezia, has allegedly been targeted by Sampdoria and Torino as well. The 1994-born is likely to be handed out on a loan spell again, including an option to buy, probably a non-mandatory one.
Still on a deal with AC Milan until June 2023, Caldara was recently linked to Scaligeri themselves, mostly as a compensation in a trade supposedly bringing Mattia Zaccagni into Rossoneri ranks. Atalanta alumni, who capped twice for Italian senior national team, back in 2018, has so far capped 145 times in official games, across his pro club career, scoring 15 goals therein.
