Spartak Moscow beat Serie A leaders Napoli 2-1 at home on Wednesday, moving the Russians to the top of their Europa League group. Aleksandr Sobolev scored both goals in the first half.

All four teams in Group C have a chance to advance, and the winner of Leicester's match against Legia Warsaw at the King Power Stadium on Thursday will take Spartak's position at the top.

Napoli are winless in three games in all competitions after gaining only one point from their past two Serie A matches after a quick start to the season.

With a third-minute penalty, Russian international Sobolev gave Spartak, who had lost 3-2 in Naples earlier in the season, the lead, before netting twice before the half-hour mark.

In the second half, Eljif Elmas got a goal back for the visitors, but Napoli were unable to equalize.

On head-to-head away goals, Luciano Spalletti's side falls behind Spartak.
