Serie A - Zakaria could still arrive in Rome in January
AS Roma continues to look for another midfielder to give to coach Mourinho. The Friedkins weren't able to please the Special One in the summer transfer market session, but they could do it as early as January. The hottest name seems to be Denis Zakaria of Borussia Mönchengladbach. He is a quick and flexible midfielder who can fill multiple roles in the middle of the pitch. Mönchengladbach asks for €20 million, but as the contract expires next June, it could land in the capital for a much lower amount. Corriere dello Sport reports it.
To avoid losing him for free, Borussia Mönchengladbach are hoping to convince Denis Zakaria to renew and then sell him. According to Corriere dello Sport, however, the relations between the player and the German club are not excellent and the separation between the two could happen in any case.
Meanwhile, Roma have established relations with the player's agent to reach an agreement on the engagement: it is a way to beat the competition and put pressure on Borussia Mönchengladbach.
