The Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS) has announced that André Onana's disqualification will be reduced by three months, from twelve to nine. The Ajax goalkeeper had been barred from playing and even training with the team since February 5, when UEFA suspended him for a year for taking a doping substance. Onana will be able to play an official match from November 4th and will be allowed to train regularly from September 4th.

In a statement, Ajax explained that UEFA, during the trial, continued to demand that the twelve months previously imposed be respected. "With this sentence we have gained three months compared to the initial suspension," explains Van der Sar, general manager of the club. "That's why it was worth it. We are for clean sport and we are convinced that André took the doping substance by mistake and not to improve his performance" ..
