Once the list of the 30 nominees to win the Ballon d'Or is official, it's time to predict who will be the winner of the award. We explain who the top favorites are and why.
It is a difficult year to choose the winner of this award. Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have held the hegemony of this trophy since 2008 (except in 2018) are not real candidates to win the Ballon d'Or. Therefore, the fight is more even than ever.

-Karim Benzema: Since Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid, the figure of Karim Benzema has emerged like foam. The French striker is in the best moment of his career and the start of the 21/22 season has been spectacular.
