Four clubs after former Arsenal man Mustafi

Previously pursued by a bunch of Italian clubs, including Inter Milan, AC Milan, AS Roma, and Lazio, former 29-year old German international centre-back Shkodran Mustafi, a free agent since early July, has now been targeted by Genoa. Already tracked by a further Serie A club, namely Fiorentina, former Arsenal and Valencia backliner turned out being an item of interest for Il Grifone in spite of his Sampdoria past.
Spending last half-season playing for Schalke 04, on a short-living tenure which ended up in a relegation from Bundesliga, Mustafi is also tracked by two Turkish Süper Lig clubs, namely Fenerbahçe and Adana Demirspor. The player used to fend for Gunners from 2016/17 to 2020/21 first half.
