BUNDES - Hertha Berlin plotting to fetch Rekik back

According to latest German news, Hertha Berlin management got in touch with Sevilla FC over bringing back 26-year old Dutch international centre-back Karim Rekik. Signed by Spanish club less than a year ago, on a bare 2 million euros transfer fee, Manchester City and Feyenoord alumni capped 22 times for Rojiblancos, only half of which in La Liga campaign.
Still on a 4-year long deal with German side, Rekik, suitable as a left-back as well, might be loaned out back, or even handed out on a full basis, to Hertha, the environment hosting his recent breakthrough. Throughout his career, Rekik has also been playing for Olympique de Marseille, PSV Eindhoven, Blackburn Rovers, and Portsmouth.
