BUNDES - Jetro Willems set to join Greuther Fürth

Jetro Willems have joined Bundesliga club Greuther Fürth on a free transfer. He was released by Eintracht Frankfurt this summer after 4 seasons with club. He did win German Cup at his time with the club & was once loaned to Newcastle also. He didn't make single appearance last season & left the German club with 46 League appearances. He was signed from PSV Eindhoven in 2017 for a fee of €9 million. During his time with PSV he was once linked with ManUtd under Ferguson, as he was considered as Evra's long term replacement but injuries has been an issue that he couldn't reach his potential. He is a former Netherlands INT left back who has 22 caps. At his time with PSV he did win 2 Leagues & 1 Domestic Cup. Now he has joined his new club on a 2 year contract ,27,  he was linked with various clubs across continent but has decided to continue his career in Germany only. He will wear NO.15 jersey. 

Willems : "I have recently kept myself fit with an athletic trainer in order to be ready to help my new team as soon as possible. I am very much looking forward to the task with 'Kleeblatt' and to getting to know the team."
