BUNDESLIGA - Competition for Bayern: Wolfsburg also wants Pepi

Ricardo Pepi is attracting a lot of attention in the MLS this season. With thirteen goals and two assists from 26 missions, the 18-year-old arouses interest in Europe. The 'Bild' reports that the US international with Mexican roots is also very popular with VfL Wolfsburg.
The striker is still under contract with FC Dallas until 2026. His commitment would not be favorable. Most recently it was reported that FC Bayern has the right foot on the radar. With Alphonso Davies (20), who came from the Vancouver Whitecaps, the German record champions have recently made a top transfer from the MLS.
But the European competition does not sleep either. The tabloid names Sampdoria Genua and Ajax Amsterdam as other potential buyers. Gradually a few clubs are gathering around the rough diamond. Dallas will be able to count on an attractive transfer fee should competition develop.
In September, the Texan made his debut for the US national team. Against Honduras (4: 1) the striker scored once and put on two more hits. Since this game at the latest, Pepi's name should have been known to European heavyweights.
