Michel Platini speaks in a long interview with Il Giornale. It was the chance to express his opinion about the Super League:

"For 50 years the clubs have wanted to change the Champions League formula. They almost succeeded but the fans and the media reacted and everything is back for the moment. The people and the press have done what UEFA has not been able to do: to keep the clubs together.

"For me, clubs have every right to organize their own tournament and not to participate in events managed by UEFA and FIFA. After all, the idea of the Champions Cup was de l'Equipe, then UEFA appropriated it. The threats to Agnelli? He and Juve will continue to exist, Ceferin will pass”, he said.
