The incidents that punctuated the 7th day of Ligue 1 continue to react. This Thursday, it is the turn of the president of the Stade de Reims and the college of Ligue 1 clubs, Jean-Pierre Caillot to speak publicly. In an interview with the Team, the main protagonist confides his fed up with the recent events which pollute the French championship. The latter thus calls for firmness, and stadium bans for the offenders.

“People who come to the stadium to make a mess, they must be banned from the stadium at the slightest overflow. In Reims, ten years ago, we were in National, and we had problems at our low level with our supporters. Those who did not want to listen to reason, they were banned from the stadium. I am for zero tolerance. With video systems, we have the ability to identify troublemakers. And even if we can have philosophical discussions on this, I think we have to be relentless. Because from the moment you tolerate certain things, you arrive at the current excesses, ”commented Caillot. This Thursday evening, the disciplinary committee could pronounce the first sanctions following the incidents which occurred on the sidelines of the Angers-OM and MHSC-Bordeaux meetings.
