LIGA MX - Puebla targeting Chivas midfielder Fernando Beltran
As reported by Mexican sports outlet Record, Puebla manager Nicolas Larcamon admitted that the club is looking for a new acquisition in midfield.
One of their targets, revealed by Larcamon in a press conference, is Chivas' Fernando Beltran. "We're looking at different option to fill that job, and Beltran is one of them" declared the skipper. Beltran is one of the players that Chivas indicated as possible departures in this transfer window, as the midfielder is currently representing Mexico in the Olympic Games in Tokyo as the side will look to win a bronze medal against hosts Japan.
Beltran played in every game in the last two Liga MX tournaments, appearing in 34 matches out of a possible 34. Chivas, however, decided to look in another direction apparently, and now Beltran could join Puebla.
