SERIE A – Samir Handanovic praises ex-Inter boss

Nerazzurri goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has praised Antonio Conte for his contributions to the club enroute their successful domestic campaign last season.

Speaking to Tuttosport, the shotstopper commented: "We players have only to thank him. What struck me most is the mentality he brought and on this I think we have taken the biggest step. Conte is one who gets excited when he speaks to the team and knows how to excite his players and never misses the moment in which to say things."

Conte led Inter to their first Scudetto win in over a decade.
