UEFA will not take any action against Sparta Prague for allegedly abusing Rangers player Glen Kamara in a recent Europa League match, after a disciplinary inquiry by the governing body of European football found "insufficient evidence."

"The investigation has now concluded that there was insufficient evidence of racism or discriminatory conduct at the match to warrant the opening of disciplinary proceedings against AC Sparta Praha," UEFA said in a statement on Friday.

Rangers reported the alleged abuse to UEFA after Kamara was booed repeatedly before getting sent off in the 75th minute of the Scottish champions' 1-0 Europa League loss to Sparta Prague on September 30.

Last season, Kamara was racially insulted by Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kudela in a Europa League match.
