LA LIGA - Elche hitman Boyé wooed for an Italian return

Playing for Elche since 2020/21, 25-year old Argentinian forward Lucas Boyé, according to both Italian and Spanish sources, has just been targeted by Serie A side Bologna. Felsinei trainer Sinisa Mihajlovic was the one who suggested bringing him into Italian football realms first, back in summer 2016, as Boyé had been shining as a Newell's Old Boys up-and-comer, though being on a parent-club deal with River Plate back then.
Currently on a deal with Los Franjiverdes until June 2024, former Reading and Celta Vigo hitman played for Granata a year and a half, back then. Previously fending for AEK Athens as well, Boyé is equipped with a dual Italian citizenship.
