LA LIGA – Koeman forces Riqui Puig to do better and make a case

Riqui Puig has been touted to be the future of Barcelona but he hasn’t featured at all this term under Ronaldo Koeman. According to the Dutch manager, the youngster still has to undergo a huge learning curve in order to prove his worth for a starting spot in the team.
Koeman said: "He needs to improve many aspects of his game, He warmed up the other day because he had a chance of coming on, but I had to bring on someone else because of the injury to Jordi Alba. He has to work hard just like any other young player."
Puig has been included in the match day squads so far but has failed to play any minutes. He played a total of 593 minutes last season.
