Playing for Real Oviedo last season, on a loan spell, in second-tier league, 24-year old Spanish centre-back Edgar Gonzalez might be leaving Real Betis Sevilla again, come next January. Espanyol alumni, currently on a deal with Andalusian side until June 2023, is in fact getting little game time, out of Marc Bartra and German Pezzella keeping a hold on their regular starting position.
