Behind the scenes, Xavi's return to Barcelona has triggered significant change. According to Mundo Deportivo, the club's head of physiotherapy, Juanjo Brau, will quit the club almost 25 years after joining to work with the club's junior system. For the past 18 years, he's been a part of the first-team setup.

Brau was close to a number of Barcelona players over the years, including Lionel Messi. However, he has departed the club as Xavi seeks to revamp the club's medical department in the wake of the first team's recent injury woes. Brau had to say his goodbyes since sentiment had to give way to science.

So far in the Xavi era, Barcelona has won two games and drew one, scoring four goals and allowing just once. They're currently eighth in La Liga and second in their Champions League group, with two crucial matches on the horizon. On Saturday, they face Real Betis, followed by a match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday. The latter is a must-win if they want to advance to the Champions League's final 16.
