LIGA - Juan Foyth suffers injury blow ahead of Manchester United clash
Villarreal's Juan Foyth appears to be facing a last-minute fitness fight ahead of their Europa League match against Manchester United on Wednesday.
With seven starts from eight games in all competitions for Unai Emery's team so far this season, the Argentinian international has been crucial for Unai Emery's side.
The former Tottenham defender, though, was pulled out in the last minutes of Villarreal's 0-0 La Liga tie with Real Madrid, and may now miss the trip to Old Trafford.
Emery removed Foyth for Mario Gaspar with the 23-year-old walking straight down the tunnel at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, despite Foyth's best efforts.
Villarreal is anticipated to provide an update on Foyth in the coming days, with the team set to go to the United Kingdom on September 29.
