LIGA - Koeman blast fans who abused him after Clasico macth
People who attacked Ronald Koeman outside Camp Nou on Sunday following Barcelona's Clasico defeat "don't know what morals and values are," according to Koeman.
Following Barcelona's 2-1 loss to Real Madrid in La Liga, Koeman was thwarted by a mob of fans as he attempted to leave the stadium in his car. Some yelled profanities at him, while others kicked his car.
On Sunday, Barcelona issued a statement condemning "the violent and disrespectful conduct" against Koeman, who is a club icon after scoring the winning goal in the 1992 European Cup final for Barca.
"I don't think there is a solution," said Koeman in a press conference on Tuesday. "For me it's a social problem, they are people who have an education problem, they don't know what morals and values are.
"But the atmosphere on the pitch, even at 2-0 down, was the opposite, and we shouldn't pay too much attention to these people."
