Arsenal are linked with Serbia and Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, according to Eurosport.

The forward has had a horrible time at Los Blancos and is now being linked with a transfer away. He was electric in the Bundesliga, for Eintracht Frankfurt. Now, though, he has been mentioned with a move to the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s side have netted just two goals in five Premier League matches so far. A new number nine would shake things up for them and Jovic fits the bill.

Jovic’s only 23-years-old and in spite of an early career blip at the European giants he has plenty of potential.

Fortunately for Arsenal, there is no way he will cost them anywhere near what the Spaniards paid for him. The club fork out £52.4m for him.

The Gunners will likely be able to get the player on a cut-price deal and be able to offer the Serbian much lower wages than his current ones.

Luka has barely featured for his team this season. After failing to impress the French manager Zinedine Zidane at Madrid, he has been unable to change his fortunes under the Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti.
