LIGA - Suarez saves Atletico with late double against Getafe

Atletico Madrid came from behind to beat 10-man Getafe 2-1 on Tuesday, moving to the top of La Liga. Luis Suarez scored twice, including an injury-time winner.
On the stroke of halftime, Getafe took the lead through Stefan Mitrovic, but the game was turned around when Carles Alena was sent off in the 74th minute.
Following a VAR review, Alena was handed a straight red card for a terrible studs-up tackle on Brazilian international Matheus Cunha, who had previously been cautioned.
Suarez slashed a left-footed shot into the roof of the net after racing onto Mario Hermoso's long pass.
After the clock approached 90 minutes, the Uruguayan completed the comeback by tapping in at the back post as Getafe goalkeeper David Soria backtracked after first attempting to gather Sime Vrsaljko's cross.
Atletico Madrid, the reigning champions, are currently one point ahead of city rivals Real Madrid, who play Real Mallorca on Wednesday.
