LIGA - Three games without win: Barcelona draws against Cadiz

On Thursday, Barcelona went three games without a win, as a goalless draw with Cadiz undermined Ronald Koeman's position as coach.

At the Ramon de Carranza stadium, Frenkie de Jong was sent off in the 65th minute, but Koeman, who was also handed a red card in injury-time, will get little credit for holding on for a draw.

Neither team was able to produce clear chances in the first half, with Barcelona coming closest via Sergio Dest, who shot over after bursting into the box.

Cádiz, on the other hand, came within a whisker of breaking the stalemate only 40 seconds into the second half when Marc André ter Stegen brilliantly denied lvaro Negredo.

It's unclear if Koeman will be in charge for Barcelona's match against Levante on Sunday, but it looks to be more a question of when the club can find a successor than if he will stay.
