Boubacar Kamara has become the hottest prospect in the market as many teams in Europe are being put on red alert over his deal situation. U21 France international’s current contract at Marseille expires at the end of the campaign, and there is no indication of possible renewal.

Linked with a deadline day transfer to Wolves, Boubacar was blocked out of a late move by the Olympians. But his current situation has now put bigger teams on alert, including the Manchester United, Sevilla and Arsenal.

The French midfielder is widely regarded as one of France’s most gifted midfield talents, having already notched up 125 competitive games for the Olympians at the age of just 21.

There is now a growing belief that the French midfielder will be available for free next summer, or even on a pre-contract deal or at least a cut-price move in winter, knowing the French club will be keen on avoiding losing him for free. It bodes well for the Gunners, who have faced major backlash due to their market strategy.

Although Arsenal have not shied away from investing a fortune in the summer transfer market, the lack of a proper midfield setup, among several other issues, has left them languishing at the bottom of the PL table during the international break.

However, with Sevilla also interested, both Man United and Arsenal must move swiftly if they are to get their hands on the French midfielder anytime soon. Kamara is not their only option either, though, with the teams also being linked with a January swoop for Brighton’s Yves Bissouma.
