LIGUE 1 - Liverpool leading the race to sign Rennes young striker

Liverpool are front runners to sign Belgian star Jeremy Doku according to RTL Sport journalist Alexandre Braeckman. Jeremy Doku caught the eye of many teams around Europe from his fantastic performances in the Euros with Belgium.

This wouldn't be the first time Liverpool were in for Doku. Liverpool tried to sign the forward when he was just a youngster, but the player and his entourage believed it was too early in his career to take such a big step.

That seems to be the right decision as Doku has gone on to develop his game further and become a much more rounded player for that.

In a recent claim made by RTL journalist Alexandre Braeckman on Twitter: Liverpool are 'best positioned' to take Jeremy Doku next summer, with the player likely to depart Rennes at the end of the season.
