After receiving the compliments of his trainer Jorge Sampaoli, it was his compatriot El-Hadji Diouf, ex-Liverpool and Bolton striker, who did not hesitate to compare him to a former Olympian glory: Didier Drogba.
“I got to know him with the national youth team. He's a striker, a Didier Drogba. All he can do is score goals. I watched him with Diambars, and he was close to being one of the top scorers in the Senegal league. He is a young man with a future. The Senegal team, too, may have found their great striker.
