According to L'Équipe, the LFP's disciplinary commission will convene on November 3 to decide if Marseille's suspended point punishment will be triggered, following crowd unrest in yesterday's match against PSG.

Despite the fact that the city mayor, president Pablo Longoria, and Dimitri Payet had warned Marseille fans against misbehaving in the run-up to the game, Le Classique was nonetheless full with problems. Objects were thrown towards PSG players, flares and fireworks were used extensively, and banners were aimed at league officials.

Following the fan disturbances on the trip to Angers last month, OM is now set to get the suspended single-point deduction. The LFP had already decided to close the visitors' stands during Marseille's away matches until the end of the calendar year.
